LNG Truck Loading Facility & Control System
for Perú LNG
Peru LNG is the company that owns Pampa Melchorita, the first liquefaction plant for Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) that is built in the South American continent, specifically in Peru. Montrel has the honor of participating in a historical and very important project for the LNG sector in the continent with the manufacture, supply and commissioning of the LNG Truck Loading Facility, a project of significant importance for the operation of the terminal.
Montrel
Experience
Montrel, as a company specialized in LNG Truck Loading Facilities, has carried out an EPC that involves the manufacture and supply of loading skids (including equipment such as weighing scales, control valves, metering instrumentation …), and also the Truck Loading System (control & management), whose software is developed by Montrel.
Our company has already successfully carried out projects of similar characteristics in Latin America for Gas Natural Fenosa Puerto Rico (GNPR) and GNL Quintero (Chile), which was a pioneer project in the continent, being the first regasification plant in South America and also the terminal that more trucks load in the world, with more than 50,000 since 2011 according to GNL Quintero, where Montrel installed the four truck loading bays.
This project represents another Montrel milestone in the LNG sector, where it has also successfully and technically executed all LNG Truck Loading Facilities in Spain, divided into seven terminals between Enagás, BBG, Saggas and Reganosa. Spain, according to Enagás, is the country with the highest truck load in Europe, and therefore one of the biggest references in the LNG sector worldwide.
